The Life and Legacy of Captain Andrew Haldane. Also known as Ack Ack, using skills he learned as captain of the football and baseball teams in Bowdoin College, led his men bravely though the battlefield of the Pacific. His story is portrayed in the 2010 HBO Miniseries The Pacific. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the program begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9th at the Wright Museum’s DuQuoin Education Center, 77 Center Street in Wolfeboro. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made online.
