Recreational boaters please note: To protect the rowers, no boats are allowed in the race area, but there will be a large open lane on the northside of the bay allowing traffic to Wolfeboro town docks. Marine patrol will enforce headway speed only in the northside lane to protect the rowers and cut down on wakes.

Brewster Academy to host the Winni Chase Regatta honoring the first intercollegiate athletic contest in the Country held on Lake Winnipesaukee in 1852. Eight high school crew teams will be competing in a 4,500 meter rowing race beginning at Worcester Island and finishing at Brewster Beach. To protect the rowers, headway speed will be strictly enforced on the race route by Marine Patrol. Come cheer the rowers on at Brewster Academy or Brewster Beach for the finish line fun!
